pc remote diagnosis
PCNS uses LogMeIn Technician Rescue so it's possible to perform cursory inspections
of your Internet connected PC (broadband connection recommended), without the need for always connected,
less secure, resource consuming remote agents like Real VNC, WinVNC, or PC Anywhere. No holes have to
be punched in your firewall or router. When the remote session ends, the remote agent performs an
orderly shutdown.
Newer, free solutions, such as WinVNC over Network Streams, allows a technician to connect to your PC
anytime, whether you want them or not. Crossloop's
free remote control service require's user permission to launch, however Crossloop runs all the time.
In some cases, it's feasible to diagnose your PC via remote control. This can be used either in
concert with or as a substitute for an onsite visit, depending on the nature of your PC problem.
